Whether it’s foot problems, sore feet (“achy balls” as I like to affectionately refer to my area of the foot bed that gives me the most angst), a walking commute, one too many leg days at the gym (case in point during this particular day), or just a desire to turn an outfit into cozy street chic, it pays to have some cute sneaks around to solve whatever woes you. And sometimes a gal just wants to rock some solid chucks (and these happen to be on sale)!
I started with a denim skirt (for the hold outs, yeah, they are back in). Added a chambray striped shell, because, yes, you can do chambray with denim. Threw on a neutral necklace with a blue-gray tassel. So far this is sounding rather blue, huh? My first instinct is to go for a bold shoe pop in a heel nonetheless, but I find an older floral pair of heeled sandals in my closet with a hint of blue in the print and throw them on. No sooner did I get up from squatting to fasten the buckles, in a super lady like manner no doubt, when I painfully recall how sore my legs are from a killer leg workout. So I grab these cute, girly, cozy pink converse and run out the door with a sporty spice street chic option in hand and, voila, I can “convert” my outfit with converse.
