One of my favorite things to do is mix feminine pieces with edgier ones. I love the look of delicate laciness with super destructed jeans. This look is a combo where I’ve done just that, and even roped in my peplum obsession.
These Frame Denim Le Skinny destructed denim jeans are my favorite black destructed denim to date. They are a super-stretch denim that fits like a glove around my bass, I mean my curves, but they also don’t stretch out as I wear them. It’s safe to say that if you’re not willing to buy this particular pair, don’t even torture yourself with trying them on. But I want you to, I really really do! I want everyone to experience denim they love and feel great wearing!
The destructed jeans are worn with what is essentially a cozy peplum t-shirt with cute feminine lace elements added.
- Add some femme to your edge. Maybe you’ve got the edginess thing covered, or you’ve got an edgy piece you’ve been dying to wear but don’t want to go full on hard core edge with your look. Insert something with frills or lace or powder pink or whatever your inner femme moves you to do and see what happens.
- Add some edge to your femme. If you’re all about that lace, ‘bout that lace, mix in something edgier for a change up. Maybe some ripped jeans, a leather jacket, or leopard pumps. Have fun with your femme!
- Treat yo self to quality denim. Maybe it’s not this pair (even though I have linked a pair you can check out to get the look for less), but if you continue reading my posts I will probably go on repeat that a few pairs of well-made and fitted quality jeans will feel better, look better, and last longer than 10 pairs of subpar, ill-fitting, or crappy jeans. Of course 10 or more pairs of quality perfect fitting jeans are better than a few and so on, but I hope you’re picking up what I’m throwing down.
I hope you’ll comment below and share what you think of mixing feminine and edgy!
