The correct online ordering or searching terminology and fashion magazine lingo is "denim skirt", but how many of you just like to call it a good old fashioned "jean skirt"? If you didn't catch on to this denim craze trend this Summer, you might want to rethink it now, because I'm taking my jean skirt with me into Fall fashion with two outfit ideas to share (with photos from a new photographer), plus I've rounded up some of my favorite jean skirt choices from pencil to buttons starting at just $18!
Denim Skirt Look #1: Country Cutie
If you know me, you'll understand the ironic joke here and that this is totally a term my mom would come up with. I was raised in the country, but I'm not particularly keen on it, it's music, or anxious to return there to live any time soon. I like a bit of a faster pace and being around "stuff" like the mall and Taco Bell, but I see it's beauty, can embrace my surroundings, and rock some country-ish looks from time to time. This look is actually simple and easy because all of the elements are versatile: tan booties, a gray sweater (that just so happens to be on SALE), denim on the bottom, and topped with some of my standard gold baubles. Switch out for a different top or change the shoes out easily. I went for a loser and longer look with this denim skirt, but a more fitted version above the knee would work too. It can also be worn outside of the country setting, which I plan to do on the reg.

Denim Skirt Look #2: Street Style
Yes, this look is quite literally street style, as in sit yourself down on the street in it. Here I took the same denim skirt, changed out for a tank, added a leather jacket (faux leather is just fine too), and switched out the booties, but you could also throw on some chunky heels or cool sneaks. The zipper details and moto leather give this look a more urban, street style feel, but you can still wear it sitting in the road next to a field.
