Ok so I am the first person to roll her eyes when people say just about any new thing is “the best ever”, it “changed my life”, “I can’t live without it”. So if I’m asserting such a claim, while it isn’t entirely factual and life would actually go on, I really must love it , use on the regular, and would write a strongly worded letter should it ever be discontinued.
This, my friends, is the eyeliner I can’t live without: Stila Stay All Day Waterpoof Liquid Eyeliner
Meow…Cat Eyes. I absolutely love this look, but at no point have I ever had the time, patience, or skill to perfect the application techniques. Cat eye or no cat eye, standard eyeliner just doesn’t cut it for me because I have “hooded” lids (where a fold of skin hangs over the eye socket lines, or orbital ridge, impacting the visibility of the natural crease). Before I found this Stila Stay All Day Waterpoof Liquid Eyeliner, I struggled with finding an eyeliner than went on smoothly, dried quickly, and didn’t end up all over the top of my eyelid by the end of the day. I’ve been using it now for years and it has been a crucial improvement to my makeup collection and routine because it’s easy to use and doesn’t run or smudge. I’m pretty much known to put it on no matter what I’m doing or where I’m going, and while I’ll keep trying samples of other products, nothing compares to this eyeliner!
While I wouldn’t fancy myself a makeup guru by any stretch of the imagination, I have accumulated a few tips for hooded eyelid make-up application:
* Keep eye make-up simple
* Use medium to dark matte colors
* Define the brows
* Use a dark eyeliner on the upper lash line
* Amplify the eyelashes
* Try a winged or cat eye look with your eyeliner (insert use of Stila Stay All Day Waterpoof Liquid Eyeliner)
Hooded lids or not, change your life, slap on some wings, and check out this eyeliner!
